Our second day of comiket we decided to leave a few minutes later and get off the Yurikamome line a station or two earlier so we could try to catch up with the end of the line more directly. This worked out in our favor and instead of getting into the hall at nearly 1pm we made it closer to 11:30-11:45. This time we headed to the west wing again but we went for the doujinshi booths this time. I had no interest in doujinshi this year but Steve was interested in checking out the different areas, maybe looking at some doujin-soft and scoping out some talent for a web page mascot design. We wandered amongst tables featuring publications on railways, automotive, and travel in addition to anime, gaming and many others.

The automotive section had some booths featuring itasha stickers where we ran into the guy from Team Orange Road again. I could not resist buying a few. I went with the white colored ones for dark backgrounds. I got a small Konata from Kucky Star giving two thumbs up that I thought might be good for the gas cap cover. The rest were text based including an I've Sound logo, a K-ON logo and a "KOTOKO - I've Sound". The latter I got from a group called New Dreamers who were very nice to me. They took the time to speak to me and were patent even when I had trouble understanding. They even gave me a keychain for free. We ran into Patrick walking the floors in search of K-ON doujin and we stoped and said "hi" for a moment.

We hit the cosplay again this time on the roof. I found a few more costumes I felt like photographing including a maid style outfit, and a girl dressed as Lum with a Ten doll from Urusei Yatsura. We decided to stay until closing to pay our respects to the final day of Comiket and joined in the clapping at 4pm. Rather than try to brave the huge lines and crowded trains off of Odaiba Steve had the bright idea of taking a ferry off the island which was quite successful. It may have been the Suijobus Ferry that took us to Asakusa with one change of boats in between. It was not the quickest mode fo travel, but considering the alternative was far superior to waiting in line for the trains and the second boat was uncrowded and comforatble after a long day at comiket.

That evening we decided to celebrate our activities with a bowl of curry in keeping with the otaku theme. We went to a restaurant in the UDX building that serves 4 styles or curry with a number of choices of ingerdients. Steve and I both got black curry, mine with seafood and his with cheese and hamburger. Note: Since viewing this menu I will never agian feel shy about adding any kind of strange ingredient to my curry when making it at home.
